Installation hint
To dismount the ignition coils from engines of the Volkswagen group, the use of a special tool is required to avoid damage.
This applies to the following types of coils:
U5002, U5003, U5006, U5011, U5013, U5014, U5015, U5017, U5020, U5024, U5046
A damaged or worn cylinder head cover gasket can lead to oil in the spark plug shaft. This may cause electrical contact or insulation problems. Inspect spark plug shaft before installing a new ignition coil.
